KATE MOSS TO ROCK THE ALBERT HALL

Supermodel Kate Moss is set to prove her mettle as a rock chick by singing a Primal Scream song in the Albert Hall. The Croydon-born beauty will perform the track Rocks at the forthcoming Prince's Trust fundraiser in London.

Kate is a close friend of Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie, and she thought the tune would fit the bill for the charity concert, which is a celebration of fashion and music.

"She has called in the help of a voice coach to make sure she doesn't embarrass her self and is practising every day," said an event organiser. "She is already getting nervous but I'm sure she'll do herself proud."

The 29-year-old won't be the only one trying her hand at a new skill, however, as singer Robbie Williams has been lined up to do some modelling.

The Prince's Trust is aiming to raise £1 million from the gigs which will take place on October 15 and 18. "Fashion Rocks", which is to be hosted by Liz Hurley, is counting on performances from David Bowie, Victoria Beckham, Elton John and Bryan Ferry along with catwalk shows by Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Stella McCartney.
