Queen Rania is an epic humanitarian, championing the need for young people to get properly educated for years.

Her Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans provides scholarships for orphans to go to university, while she's supported a children's museum, and an annual award for teaching excellence, she also chairs the Jordan River Foundation for empowering local communities and promoting child protection, and the Queen Rania Foundation, which is geared towards education innovation, a foundation with the aim of keeping issues of children's welfare out of politics.

The Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans tell HELLO! where Queen Rania got her inspiration for the non-profit organisation: "The idea for Al Aman Fund stemmed straight from Her Majesty's heart: she wanted to make sure Jordan's orphans never felt forgotten or abandoned... that they received the education they needed to succeed.

"Watching her happiness, warmth and sincerity when she meets with our beneficiaries is incredibly touching.

"She inspires them to see themselves in a new light and redefine their own limits. The young women, in particular, take her words of encouragement to heart – years later, they still speak of the time the Queen told them to never give up. Her impact on their lives has been immeasurable."

Queen Rania is on the board of the United Nations Foundation (UNF) and is UNICEF's first eminent advocate for children.

She has looked at specific ways to help her country during the pandemic, setting up a free English language initiative in September to battle unemployment amongst Jordanian youth.

She also announced funding for 100 local income-generating projects in October, as businesses were hit by COVID-19.
