New parents Giovanna and Tom Fletcher were in a slight panic at the weekend as their son Buzz was admitted to hospital. The HELLO! Joking that the family had to wait as long as it took to watch the particularly lengthy Titanic film, he tweeted his followers updates about dealing with the UK’s National Health Service on Sunday.

Tom later reassured worried fans that their baby was on the mend though but didn’t stop before he said his piece about other people going before them. Apparently, the musician witnessed people with less serious injuries being seen by experts before they could get their son checked out.

He also told the Twittersphere that he’d not had the chance to clean himself and had been chowing down on junk food to keep his energy up.

Tom joked alongside the post that his appearance at the weekend was not too different from life on the road with the likes of McFly.

As well as preparing for that Tom has been creating somewhat of a baby diary via his microblogging page as he enjoys the thrill of fatherhood. From telling fans about Buzz’s bowel movements to his love for music, the star makes sure to include his devoted followers every step of the way. Last week Tom was in much better spirits as he told fans that his brother-in-law,

TOWIE's Mario Falcone had a new clothing brand.
