Jack Pack — the four man band made up of Adam, Alfie, Andrew and Sean — have bagged a spot in the next round of Britain's Got Talent, after wowing the judges with their rendition of That's Life by Frank Sinatra. The Swing group may have impressed Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams on the panel, but the stars admitted that their audition was a "daunting, nerve-wracking experience."

"It's a double edged sword," said Adam, speaking to HELLO! Online after the audition. "We would have liked to have Simon there purely to say what he thought. But then on the other side, we kind of didn't want him there. It would have been more nerve-wracking having him looking at us throughout the whole audition." The group received a standing ovation from the crowd, with Alesha calling painter and decorator Alfie the "cream in the coffee." "I think Alesha does have a soft spot for me, maybe a little," the 24-year-old admitted. "I went a bit shy at the audition. I didn't really know what to say, which I think showed on my expression. She's a lovely lady though so it's all good." "Alfie kept texting me after saying, 'Should I have said this? Should I have done this?'" quipped 28-year-old barman Adam.

"The weird thing is that when you've done the audition, you don't see it until it's aired," said father-of-two Andrew. "It's such a crazy experience, you don't know what you did or said on stage. My daughter was going mad when she saw me on TV. She's three and a half. She was jumping up and down on my lap to the point that I wasn't even watching it anymore." Gardener Sean, 32, added that the judge he most wanted to impress was Amanda. "She's been there for years and years," he said. "She's had a lot of experience and gone through so many seasons, so to get a compliment from her would mean a lot. She's done theatre and so she's very clued up with harmonies and group singing."

Jack Pack shot to fame, gaining over 4,000 social media followers overnight. "All the young girls on Twitter are loving Alfie at the minute," said Adam. "He gave our fans the name, the Jackpackers." "The amount of support we got on Twitter was amazing," said Sean. "We didn't know what to expect. It's all really surreal." "It felt amazing but hugely nerve-wracking at the time," said Andrew. "It was such a daunting experience, the waiting around, being taken backstage and hearing the buzzers for the first time, which are actually really, really loud. It was really scary." "I kept jumping out of my skin when the buzzer went off," laughed Adam, with Sean adding, "Your adrenaline's pumping and when you can hear the audience, you realise how much of a big deal it is."

"The big dream is to have a Christmas album," half-joked Adam. "Listen to our Christmas album over Christmas dinner, and then have pudding. Twice."
