Victoria Beckham has opened up about her social life, revealing that she prefers to hang out with a small group of people and that she doesn't have many close friends. Chatting to Elle magazine, she said: "I'm very close to my sister and a friend I went to school with, and then three or four others. I think a true friend understands that you can't see them as much as you might want, because they're busy as well. I never, ever feel lonely. I don't have a lot of friends but I'm surrounded by people I genuinely like to be with."

Victoria opened up about her social life

The former Spice Girls band member seems to have her hands full balancing her work life as a fashion designer with her four children – Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12 and five-year-old Harper – who recently celebrated her birthday. Taking to Instagram, Romeo wrote: "Mum, I love u so much and hope you have the best day ever!! You are the most amazing mum and you are perfect I'm every way. I love how you make me laugh every day and whatever happens you always seem to be happy. I love you to the moon and back xx have the best day ever!" Cruz posted his own photo, writing: "Dear Mum happy birthday you are the best mum ever @victoriabeckham #bestmumever." Meanwhile, little Harper filmed a video where she sang Happy Birthday, which Victoria later shared on Instagram.

Speaking about her family, Victoria told Elle: "I don't travel much because I don't want to be away from the children and I need to be in the studio. But if I am away, I tend to take that time for a bit of 'self care' and I enjoy being able to sleep because no one is waking me up in the middle of the night. So I never get lonely. It's quite nice, when you're a working mum, to have a night in a hotel… It sounds silly, but when was the last time I lay in a bath? Everything's always so quick, quick, quick."
