Jennifer Lawrence oozes sophistication as the new Miss Dior

With the Oscars only days away, Jennifer Lawrence is making sure that she is has it all flawless in the fashion department.And as the first showstopping photos from her campaign with Miss Dior are released, we can safely say that this actress won't be worrying about what to wear at this year's Academy Awards.

In what are the Silver Lining Playbook actress' most stunning portraits yet, Jennifer looks positively regal under Dior's delicate black veil and silk bow combination.It was announced last year that Jennifer would be the face Miss Dior and she's certainly kept up the brand's reputation for sophistication and glamour having joined the French fashion house's other big screen stars including Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman as their face of fashion.Best known for her portrayal of rough-and-tumble teenager Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, the 22 year old star oozed a more luxurious demeanour in the campaign for the chain-handled Miss Dior bag. Her pretty pale face and dark chocolate locks which are fixed back in a typically French chic up-do'  look perfect against the ebony black silks of the campaign's clothes which features a loose fit dress and tuxedo, both with plunging necklines.

Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, Dior's creative director and genius behind the clothes, Raf Simons, also teamed up with stylist to the stars Olivier Rizzo for the truly magnificent new season look.Raf disclosed that it was Jennifer's on-screen presence, which has already won her a Golden Globe this year, that has inspired him:"Her youth and her classic beauty, but also her force of character and the complexity she's capable of embodying at such a young age, are, for me, both unique and very moving. "Now on the way to the Academy Awards where Jennifer is nominated for her film alongside actor Bradley Cooper, we can't wait to see what the new Miss Dior will be wearing on Sunday's red carpet.
