Prince Harry had a sweet exchange with an autistic royal fan from Canada during a walkabout in Toronto last week. The fifth-in-line told Dylan Atack to "keep working hard" and "make people smile" when Dylan told the Prince that he has autism.

Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online, Dylan recalled the moment Harry came over to chat. The Prince even treated his super fan to a selfie.

"I knew before that he was a really nice person, and then when he came over to greet the crowds after and when he came over to me he was really down to earth," said Dylan.

"When I asked him to take a photo with me he said, 'Absolutely, for sure'"

He added: "I was surprised when I asked him to take a photo with me. I knew that he doesn't like taking selfies, but when I asked him to take a photo with me he said, 'Absolutely, for sure.' Royals don't normally take photos like that, you know, so it was really, really something."

The selfie is proudly hanging on Dylan's wall, alongside a picture of the Queen, who Dylan has also met in 2010.

After Dylan told Harry that he has autism, the Prince sweetly said: "Keep working hard and keep up what you're doing and keep making people smile."

Dylan Atack said that Harry "really loved" his sign

"We talked about the Invictus Games," said Dylan. "I told him I thought he was doing a great job hosting the games for the wounded soldiers across the country. And I think that's amazing for what he's doing to give back to the soldiers."

In return Harry complimented Dylan's handmade sign that read "Prince Harry, welcome eh."

"He really loved it, and he asked 'Who made it?' and I said, 'My dad made it but I helped him colour it in.' He also asked what time I arrived and I said, 'Around 10am' and he goes, 'You must have got the wrong time!"

"He was really down to earth," said Dylan

Dylan is known around his hometown of Hamilton for meeting famous people. Not only has he greeted the Queen and given flowers to Prince Charles and Camilla, Dylan also has signed photos of Judi Dench, John Travolta and Jackie Collins.

The next royals he would like to meet are Prince William and Kate. "I really hope they come to Canada soon," he said.
