Gordon Ramsay has made fans green with envy with the revelation that not only is his Cornwall holiday home located next to the beach, but it also has his own outdoor swimming pool.

The celebrity chef revealed a first look at the pool when he shared an amusing Instagram video on Tuesday, critiquing a cake that someone had decorated to look like him. "You've got the wrong Scot… that looks like @gerardbutler!!!" Gordon captioned the clip.

In the video, Gordon stood in the garden of his holiday home, with the pool visible behind him. It sits across a patio and onto the lawn of the property and appears to have sea views across the Cornwall coast.

No doubt it has been getting lots of use from Gordon, his wife Tana and their five children during the heatwave, as they continue to isolate at the beachfront residence following the coronavirus lockdown.

Gordon bought his £4.4million beachside mansion in Rock, on the north Cornwall coast, in 2015. At the time it was the second most expensive sale in Cornwall, but that didn't stop the chef from making huge changes to the original 1920s home.

The Ramsays are staying at their holiday home in Cornwall

In 2019, Gordon was granted planning permission to knock down the original property and replace it with a main house and a smaller second home. He bought a second £4million beach house in the nearby village of Trebetherick for the family to stay in while work was completed, along with a third Cornwall property in Fowey, which he rents out to holidaymakers for up to £7,000 a week.

The family typically divides their time between their main home in Battersea, London, and another mansion in Los Angeles, but have been living at their holiday home in Cornwall since the coronavirus lockdown was enforced in March.
