It was only a matter of time. And now the stunning Girls actress, Allison Williams has breezed past another milestone in Hollywood with her first major sponsorship deal as the new face of Simple Skincare. The 24-year-old who plays Marnie Michaels in the hit HBO series, an art graduate who's stuck working the "pretty person jobs", has shown she's made it much bigger than her character's worth. Joining the ranks of famous faces who have previously worked with the brand, including British model Poppy Delevingne and actress Lucy Holt, the stunning Girls' star has already shot a TV commercial in Los Angeles as part of her new beauty contract.

Having only just hit the shores of the US last year, the British beauty brand Simple has already become a firm favourite with shoppers thanks to its skin-friendly products. Whilst Marnie may be a bit of a perfectionist, Allison recently revealed to a source that she has a more laid-back approach to life and, just like most girls, she understands what it is to have problematic skin: "I do have sensitive skin, actually, and it’s been really hard to find products that don’t make it inflamed, or red or dry, or make it break out" she said, adding "It’s really complicated, but I’ve learned that it’s the case for more people than not. I don’t know how many people have unproblematic skin – that’s rare."

Whatever the all-American beauty has been using certainly seems to be working. Looking flawlessly fabulous at every press conference and interview since the second series of the hit show went to air in 2013, viewers on both sides of the Atlantic are loving Allison's pristine look, not to mention her uncanny similarity to our own Duchess of Cambridge. With growing success and an ever-busy schedule, Allison also went on to explain that "stress, makeup artists, weather and pollution" are all part of the problem with maintaining smooth skin control. But, it turns out the star has found her perfect match with the skincare brand formulated especially for those with sensitive skin: 'The great thing about Simple products is that they protect you against those things – you can wipe it all off at the end of the day."
