There's another model in the Faiers family! Doting mum Sam has signed up her five-month-old son Paul to a casting agency. The former TOWIE star and pretty model shared a photo from her baby's first shoot, giving fans a glimpse at his fun day in front of the camera.

"My baby on his casting today #proudmama," Sam, 25, wrote on Instagram.

Adorable Paul was dressed in a blue and cream outfit, and sported a slightly bemused expression as he looked at the photographer.

Sam, who welcomed her first child with her partner Paul Knightley last year, couldn't have looked happier as she tended to her baby on the shoot.

Her recent snap caused a bit of a stir among her 1.6 million followers. While some fans commented on how cute Paul is, and what a loving mum he has, other social media users expressed their concern.

"Can't you let him be a child for 5 minutes without reality TV and shoots?" wrote one person while another added, "Just let him be a baby."

However Sam's legion of fans were quick to jump to her defence. "Doesn't every parent want their child to be a model... leave people to parent their own way," one fan commented.

Another pointed out: "Those castings are usually fully prepared with mountains of toys, food and even entertainers if it's a big job. He probably gets far more attention and playtime at a casting than kids who sit at home all day with their keyboard warrior Mums."

Sam has been proudly showing off her little boy since day one, and has been posting various photos of Paul's milestones on Instagram. She also documented her pregnancy and the lead-up to the birth on a one-off ITV show Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries.

It was then that Sam's partner Paul, a property developer from Essex, also received criticism. In the show Paul insisted on a homebirth, didn't approve of the baby clothes Sam had bought and refused to attend a yoga class. He also expected his heavily pregnant girlfriend to cook all of his meals, even after giving birth to their son.

But Sam was quick to defend her boyfriend, saying that viewers mistook Paul for being controlling.

"The thing about Paul is that he cares about me and the baby so much that people mistake that for being controlling," Sam explained to The Sun's Fabulous magazine. "When I showed him the baby clothes and he was like, 'I'm not too sure on that,' it's just because he really cares about how the baby looks. He's a perfectionist."
