Emma Willis bans husband Matt Willis from competing on Strictly Come Dancing

He may be an "amazing dancer" but don't expect to see Matt Willis on Strictly Come Dancing anytime soon. The Busted star's wife Emma Willis has admitted she has banned him from competing on the show due to fears of the infamous "Strictly curse".

"Matt could do Strictly, because he's an amazing dancer. Every now and then he will bust out a pirouette in the middle of the living room and our daughter will be like, "Wow, Daddy!" Emma told The Mirror.

"But I don't want him grinding against hot women. I do get jealous, but I think that's normal."

Emma admitted: "I'm a jealous person. If my husband is around a younger, good-looking woman, I'm like, 'Stop looking at them!' We're women – and for the most part, I think it's a natural thing that we all have in us."

Strictly Come Dancing has sparked several relationships between celebrities and their dance partners over the years, including Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice, Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev and former dancer Flavia Cacace, who dated her partner Matt DiAngelo before going on to marry Jimi Mistry.

The couple welcomed their third child together in May

The couple have more than enough to keep them occupied without adding the intense training and commitment that Strictly involves to the mix. Emma and Matt welcomed their third child together at the beginning of May – baby Trixie Grace.

They have also been busy in their respective careers, with Emma quickly returning from maternity leave to host Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, while Matt has been on tour with Busted.

Although Matt won't be taking part this year, a number of other famous names have already been tipped to compete, including Daisy Lowe, Will Young, Louise Redknapp and Laura Whitmore.
