Extras star Ashley Jenson's husband dies suddenly: details

Ashley is said to be devastated at the sudden loss of her husband who she had been married to for ten years.

The star of Extras and Ugly Betty, Ashley Jenson, has been left devastated after her husband of ten years was found dead at their family home in Somerset. It is believed 60-year-old Terence Beesley died of unknown causes at the end of last month, although news of his passing has only been released now.

The former actor – who had appeared in EastEnders, the Bill and Casualty - and his 48-year-old wife, had been married for over ten years and have an eight-year-old son together, Francis. According to reports, paramedics were called to the family home following a 999 call but Terence was pronounced dead at the scene soon after.

The couple were most recently pictured together in May at the Audi Polo Challenge

A source told the Daily Mail: “Nobody saw this coming. Terence and Ashley’s friends and family are all devastated. This is a heart-breaking time for them.” Ashley is a much-loved British actress who is best known for her role in Ricky Gervais's BBC comedy Extras and for her ten year stint in the Ugly Betty comedy. She also appeared in the ITV drama, Victoria.

The couple first met in the late 1990’s when they worked together in a London theatre production of King Lear. They got married in the US in 2007, where Ashley was appearing in the comedy drama Ugly Betty. As regular faces at celebrity events, they were often photographed together; most recently in May of this year at the Audi polo challenge at Coworth Park where Terence looked in great shape.

A spokesman for Mr Beesley told the Daily Mail: “It is with great sadness that I can confirm that Terence passed away at the end of November.” An inquest into Terence’s death is expected to conclude next year.
