She's one of Hollywood biggest stars, but that didn't stop Julia Roberts from getting a little star-struck when she came face-to-face with the Real Madrid football team after their Clasico defeat against Barcelona this week. The 49-year-old, who was joined by her husband Daniel Moder, was left slightly red-faced when she was introduced to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi, Marcelo Vieira and Lucas Vázquez.
In a video posted on the official Real Madrid Instagram page, the Pretty Woman star shared her excitement to meet the international players backstage. "I'm so excited, my whole family is here and we are just thrilled to be here," she confessed. Cristiano, 32, also took to his page to share a picture with the acclaimed actress. In the caption, he gushed: "It's always a pleasure to meet nice people! God bless you and your family."
Julia's visit to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium comes five months after she was spotted at Old Trafford following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with West Ham. She was pictured casually hanging out with Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen. According to Manchester Evening News, the American star's children are believed to be big Manchester United supporters. During their appearance on the pitch, Julia could be seen happily taking several photographs on her phone as her kids played football. She later stopped to pose for a picture with United veteran midfielder Michael Carrick.
