"I think our priorities are our children, we're both kind of focusing on our kids and work at the moment. The Coronation Street star did not say if they would get back together

Kym was appearing on the show ahead of an exciting week for her Corrie character Michelle, who will finally marry Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson). The star wouldn't give too much away about the wedding, but had only good things to say about the pair's on-screen relationship. "They’ve been together on and off for seven years, and of course he's had an affair and she’s forgiven him, and she's been an idiot and punched him…

The future is uncertain for Kym and her fiancé Dan, after it emerged they have called off their wedding

"People seem to really love Steve and Michelle together and we love working together… We have really good chemistry and that's probably because we're really good mates too. "She added: "My happiest times I've had on the Street have been when I’ve been working alongside (actor) Simon Gregson. We've had so much fun together and it's been weird when they've split us up and put Michelle with someone else… I don't like that!"
